CHARLOTTE CHESNAIS JEWELERY
A self-initiated jewellery campaign inspired by the work of Charlotte Chesnais. Twelve images in which silver, gold and pearls rest on things never meant to wear them: a tulip petal, a feather, a cherry stem, a tower of upturned glasses, a bare back. Every surface is fragile or about to tip over, and the jewellery is the heaviest thing in the frame.
One recurring model across the series, mostly turned away from the camera. Unretouched skin, film grain, black and white with a few frames in colour where the gold needed to read as gold.
The pieces are shown as they are made: the right number of coils, a clasp that actually closes, a chain that runs unbroken from one end to the other. Made for jewellery brands that want campaign imagery with a clear point of view and a product that is exactly right.
