Kate Spade New York - Kate Does Lace
A speculative campaign imagining the launch of a Kate Spade New York Bridal Collection.
For the occasion, New York gets dressed for the wedding. The city’s most familiar characters and icons—from its yellow taxi and hot dog cart to fire hydrants and city dogs—are unexpectedly reimagined in intricate white lace.
Blending bridal romance with Kate Spade’s signature wit, colour and distinctly New York spirit, the campaign offers a playful alternative to traditional bridal imagery. An editorial bride, dressed in lace with a dramatic pink feather stole, moves through this transformed Manhattan before departing in a lace-covered taxi.
Developed across still imagery and motion, “Kate Does Lace” presents bridal style as spirited, unconventional and unmistakably New York.
