Rain Check | Footwear
An unsolicited concept for Crocs: the collaboration they haven't done yet.
Crocs has a formula: an unexpected pairing, a charm set, a limited drop. I wanted to point it at the one world it has never touched, the stiff, all-white, rain-soaked institution of a summer grand slam, and see whether comfort could win there too.
Rain Check is one day that goes off script: the rain delay, the champagne, the strawberries and cream, a party that won't stop and a night that gets away from everyone. Everything is white, the clogs included. The joke is in the charms: a purple rain cloud, a tuft of grass, a strawberry.
I kept to how Crocs actually shoots itself, punchy, saturated, hard flash, instead of the soft editorial look it would have been easy to fall into.
