Nought | Food & Drinks
An unsolicited launch concept for Nought, a small London brand making chocolate hazelnut paste from one hazelnut variety, grown on one farm.
What caught my eye was the tube. Nought packs its paste in an aluminium tube that looks like oil paint, and the one image on their website already treats it that way. I wanted to see how far that idea could carry a launch.
So the paste is handled like paint: lifted on a painter's palette knife, squeezed from crushed tubes, laid out in a silver tray. A grey studio in warm daylight, and reveals that show the tube a little at a time before the full launch.
After seven years of shooting drinks and food in a Berlin café, I wanted it to look like something you could taste: thick, satin, real.
Unsolicited concept. Not commissioned, endorsed or affiliated with Nought.
