Crimson Hour: independent campaign concept for Sau Lee (not commissioned)
A dusk editorial built around one hero piece: Sau Lee’s strapless chartreuse column gown, hand-embroidered with pearlescent paillettes and pearls. I set the figure at a lake’s edge under a blood-red sky and a low moon, using crimson haze and moonlight to make the beading glow and to play the gown’s green against its complementary red.
I handled creative direction end to end: creating a consistent AI model, building the setting, sourcing pose references, and directing lighting, hair, and styling. The main focus was product accuracy. I kept the gown’s true color, fit and beadwork consistent in every frame, including realistic drape in seated poses, so the images could work as real campaign assets.
