Refraction: independent campaign concept for Khaite (not commissioned)
A study in controlled distance: composed women seen through rain, glass, condensation, and reflection. I built a dark, intimate New York world around Khaite’s restrained sensuality, using direct flash, tungsten light, deep blacks, and imperfect optics to make the viewer feel just outside the scene. The surfaces distort the image, while the women and their clothing remain composed.
I handled the visual research, concept, art direction, AI-assisted image production, post-production, and editing. The central challenge was using optical distortion and motion blur without losing the presence of the subject or the details of the clothes.
